My Tales from the Fandom Podcast Feature: Talking Final Fantasy, Cosplay, and Finding My Creative Voice
A year ago today, I hit “record” as Queen Amy Dala Cosplay.
When David, the host of Tales from the Fandom, invited me on to talk about two of my favorite things, Final Fantasy and cosplay, I knew it would be a fun chat. What I didn’t realize was how much that conversation would end up marking a milestone in my cosplay journey.

Since then, so much has changed. I’ve built more costumes, connected with more amazing creators, and shared more of my journey online. But this conversation was one of the first times I really opened up about what cosplay means to me, and that still makes it special.

Final thoughts
It’s wild how much can change in a year. That one podcast chat gave me the courage to say yes to more opportunities and connections, and it reminded me how much I love talking about the things that light me up.
